Dec’s Shed
This project was commissioned by a North London based film maker as a comfortable retreat away from the hustle and bustle. Dec wanted to make the most of limited outside space by creating a new room at the end of the garden. Essentially transforming the sandstone patio adorned garden into an extended living space.
The Cedar shingled timber framed building was designed to modern energy efficient insulation standards allowing year round use.
More than just a great looking summer house, the double glazed oak
bi-folding doors allow the building to serve as a shady retreat from the hot sun, or close them up in the winter to create a cosy office space away from the distractions of the house.
