Shacks Kitchen
Arc transformed a once dead space; a traditional London terraced house with a dated washroom, concrete floor, adjacent garden and two small dingy rooms with limited garden access. Our task was to improve and innovate this space, bringing it up to modern standards.
By carefully opening up the whole area, we were able to create a single living, dine and cooking space that has joined the house and patio, creating an essential communal area, with a large set of glass doors.
A beautiful, hand-crafted oak topped kitchen stretches down one wall leaving ample space for through flow to the garden and a characterful custom kitchen table built to seat ten eager diners. What was once dead space has been transformed into the heart of the home.
